Quantcast Employee Spotlight – June 2015

One of the best parts about working at Quantcast is the amazingly intelligent, friendly and eclectic group of people we’re privileged to call coworkers. In the spirit of celebrating our unique culture and the individuals that contribute to it, each month we’ll profile an outstanding Quantcast employee you should know. This month? Anna-Katharina Knarr!

Name: Anna-Katharina Knarr

Title: Client Strategist

Awards: Client Services Values Performer

What is your role and how long have you been working at Quantcast?

I am one of the two first Client Strategists in the German Quantcast Office, which opened in October 2013. Next month will be my 1 year anniversary – time flies!

We work closely with our Sales Department to grow our client relationships by providing the best possible customer support and adding value through learning opportunities like product workshops.

What is your favorite part of working at Quantcast?

I need to mention two parts: first of all I love that I was a part of this from the very beginning. It’s great seeing our progress and growth in the German market and welcoming new members to our team. My second favorite part is definitely the work across different teams and different countries (even continents). I work closely with teams in Ireland and London and have gained so much new knowledge with this collaboration. It’s so much fun having the colleagues over in Munich or visiting them.

What is the most challenging project you’ve worked on at Quantcast?

The most challenging project at the moment is attribution training in Germany. For this I work closely together with our German product specialist. Our goal is to generate insights, workshops and trainings, especially for agencies, that make their daily business a little easier.

What are your favorite hobbies?

I love music, so during summertime I visit as many concerts as I can. I just saw AC/DC here on an open air stage in Munich — it was awesome! I also play the drums.

What is your favorite QC snack?

Salt and vinegar chips! Unfortunately they rarely sell them in Germany, so I always loot the Dublin office when I am there or the Dublin colleagues bring some over when they visit as they know I love them.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I think I changed my mind probably every week. I wanted to be a singer, then a veterinarian; I even wanted to study computer science when I was around 12! I am happy I ended up where I am right now though.
